1611 King James 400th Anniversary Edition

With its original translation begun in 1604 and completed in the year 1611, the King James Version of the Bible has been a lasting favorite among the English-speaking world. To commemorate its 400th anniversary, this limited and numbered edition of 1611 facsimile reproductions of the King James Version has been designed and printed. The facsimile reproduction is true to the original size and has also sought to match the original handmade paper as closely as possible with custom paper from Fox River Paper Mill. Printing was done with offset lithography, and the binding is genuine leather as was the original. Constructed with the highest standards, containing five layers of solid birch wood boards, thick chocolate brown genuine leather and extra heavy duty stitching, accompanied with gilt spine stamping “Holy Bible King James 1611” with raised spine bands. Pulpit folio measuring 16 x 11 x 5 inches, these anniversary covers also bear King James I's coat of arms. This copy is housed in a solidly constructed slipcover to protect the beauty and integrity of its binding, and is new.

Each 1611 King James reproduction Bible sold will be accompanied with an original leaf from the first printing of the 1611 King James Great He Bible and a certificate of Authenticity from the Christian Heritage Museum.
